Meet Dr. Larissa Bishop and Dr. Rebecca Vander Baan — two experienced, compassionate dentists dedicated to your family's oral health.
Dr. Bishop and Dr. Vander Baan bring decades of combined experience and a shared passion for exceptional patient care. Both are committed to staying at the forefront of dental medicine through continuing education and professional development.
Dr. Larissa Bishop earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, one of the top dental programs in the country. She has been practicing dentistry for over 20 years and has been an integral part of the Grandville Dental team for more than 15 of those years.
Known for her gentle touch and meticulous attention to detail, Dr. Bishop has a particular passion for cosmetic dentistry and helping patients achieve the confident smiles they've always wanted. She takes a conservative approach to treatment, always exploring the least invasive options first.
Outside of the office, Dr. Bishop is an active member of her church, enjoys hiking the trails of West Michigan, and volunteers with local community health initiatives. She and her husband have three children, which gives her a deep personal understanding of the importance of family-centered dental care.

Dr. Rebecca Vander Baan is a proud Grand Rapids native who returned home after completing her dental education at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. Growing up in West Michigan, she always knew she wanted to serve the community she loved — and Grandville Dental gave her the perfect home to do just that.
Dr. Vander Baan is SPEAR trained — a prestigious continuing education program focused on comprehensive, interdisciplinary dentistry. She has a special passion for helping anxious patients feel at ease, and her warm, unhurried approach has earned her a devoted following among patients who previously dreaded dental visits.
When she's not in the office, Dr. Vander Baan enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on the Michigan Wolverines, and exploring the beautiful parks and trails of West Michigan. She and her husband are raising two young children, which has deepened her commitment to pediatric-friendly dental care.
