Laughing Gas
A mild, inhaled sedative that creates a relaxed, euphoric feeling. You remain fully conscious and can drive yourself home afterward. Ideal for mild anxiety and shorter procedures.
Pill-Based Relaxation
A prescribed medication taken before your appointment that produces a deeper state of relaxation. You may feel drowsy and have little memory of the procedure. A driver is required.
Conscious Sedation
Administered directly into the bloodstream for rapid, precise sedation. You remain in a deeply relaxed, semi-conscious state with little to no memory of treatment. Monitored continuously by Dr. Ali.
Complete Sleep Dentistry
Full unconsciousness administered and monitored by Dr. Ali, a hospital-trained dentist anesthesiologist. Allows for extensive, complex treatment in a single appointment with complete comfort.

Dr. Ali earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from Tufts University in 2001 and spent nearly two decades deepening his expertise with advanced certifications in implantology, dental sedation, and specialized surgical techniques.
After witnessing the profound impact that anesthesia could have on patient outcomes and comfort, Dr. Ali completed a Hospital-Based Anesthesia Residency program at NYU Lutheran Medical Center — a Level 1 Trauma Center — gaining operating room experience that sets NOVA Dental Anesthesia apart from any typical dental practice.
